My brother John Partain was born & raised in Wyoming and has been taking photos for over 35 years.

John got his first camera at 14 and still cherishes the memories he captured with that camera over 35 years ago.

John's fondest memories are of times spent in the outdoors with his family. As a young man, John was inspired by Wyoming Wildlife photograper Luray Parker.

He received his first award from Wyoming Wildlife magazine in 2002. After this accomplishment and with encouragement from his friends and family, John hooked up with a local gallery and started exhibiting his work.

John has won numerous National and International awards over the last few years. John has the largest photography exhibit at the gallery in Rock Springs, larger than any other photographer in Wyoming.

John Partain is married to Brenda. Between them they have 4 grown children and 12 grandchildren.
